This month’s book recommendation is ‘How Not to be Afraid’ by Gareth Higgins and has been suggested by a Companion from Texas, who says;
This book has resonated with me and with many others. It’s written by Gareth Higgins, a native of Northern Ireland and a fabulous storyteller. He is the founder of the Wild Goose Festival here in the US, which was an offshoot of Greenbelt over there in the UK.
The book is in two halves. Every chapter ends with a brief prompt to do alone or together. The second part, especially, lends itself well to a “Book of the Month” sort of study.
In these ever increasing turbulent days, when the darkness seems to be approaching quicker than ever, and not just due to the time of year, the book could not be more perfectly timed.
