St Albans

Saturday, 10^th September 2011

Everyone is welcome to come and join us for a Community Gathering at St. Stephens Church and Cavalier Hall, top of St. Stephen’s Hill, St. Albans.  The day will include an introduction to the Community and an opportunity to join a prayer-walk along the route of St Alban’s journey from his trial to his execution. As an alternative there will be prayer stations around the Church, and a workshop session on ‘Finding God in the Everyday’ led by Duncan MacLean, The pattern of the day will be set within the Community’s offices of Morning, Midday and Evening Prayer. Lunch will be on a ‘Bring and Share’ basis.

St Stephen’s is accessible by public transport, lifts from the City’s two stations may also be available. There is a car park at the church

Anybody who is interested in the Community, inquisitive, or just plain nosey is most welcome to join us, but it would be nice to know approximate numbers in advance.
